Why Sing?An Introduction

In this module, you will learn exactly what singing is, how it is produced by the body, and its benefits. You'll explore why its a great artform to learn and lean into for life. You'll also begin vocal exercises and start a practice routine that works for your everyday schedule. Lastly, you'll learn about the many benefits of singing later in life.

Module 2

Your Voice and Your Relationship With It

How we feel about our voice is a big gatekeeper to the process of learning how to use it for singing. Many beginners feel they do not fully enjoy or like their voices. Overcome this through strategies based in neuroscience, journaling and personal exploration.

Module 3

Practice, Scales & Choosing a Song

One of the biggest ways to succeed at learning singing is to choose the right song, in the right key, for your voice and personality. There's a few criteria to cover! You'll learn how to choose the right tune for your skill level and are provided a list of songs suited to your voice.

Module 4

Fine-tuning the Body & Voice

The voice is created by the body. In this module, you'll learn the main elements of vocal technique, such as breathing, body posture, neck alignment and body exercises that allow freedom and voice.

The Bricks of Good Sounding Singing

Let's face it. You're learning to sing in order to SOUND GREAT! But what is it exactly that makes an ordinary sound...beautiful? unique? expressive? in this module we cover the tricks and tips that artists do to 'colour' the voice. and they're unbelievably easy!

How to Become Tuneful & Musical

Carrying on from Module 5, we all want to sound "in tune" and to sing a song so that it sounds pleasing, 'correct' and in alignment with the music you're singing with. Learn the musical concepts that matter the most, in order to sing in tune.

Module 7

Solving Issues In Your Singing

In this module, every common issue you will come across is detailed along with troubleshooting guidance to explore. One of the most important lessons in singing is to learn how to tweak your own voice and to correct errors as they come along.

Module 8

Bringing It All Together In Song

In this module, you'll learn how to balance everything you have learned, and how to perform it all at once in an embodied, habituated way that you enjoy, feel good with and sound beautiful. You'll also learn how to continue and keep going in keeping singing as a part of your life.
