If you are an advanced or professional vocalist considering teaching singing and voice (or perhaps would like support in your current teaching and coaching role), our studio director, Vee, is the gal for you. Book this session in if you're after: - Career strategy and support, or how to get started as a singing teacher - Have questions about your student cases and learning how to help them best - Explore different styles of teaching, and how to attract students that suit your style (this helps you develop more long-term and happy teaching relationships with students you enjoy working with - and who enjoy working with you!) - Deepen your knowledge about how the voice works, and how to translate this knowledge into practical, tangible and most importantly, creative and musical results for your students - How to "research" and decipher voice-related white papers and articles, to support your teaching with current evidence-based methods - How and when to team up with like-minded voice-related professionals - Small business structure and elements (such as effective and honest marketing, ethical and legal considerations for your studio, PR and financials) - How to care for financial flow within your creative portfolio and studio About Vee: Dr. Veronica Stewart holds over 20 years of experience in teaching singing and in building a community of singers and teachers who love this craft we all share. Vee herself has built a multi-faceted creative career and small business around singing, teaching singing and coaching voices that includes all kinds of fun work - from training teachers and singers, to research projects, arranging vocals and performing on telly. She has taught singing in many different contexts - from 1-1 studio sessions, live and recorded performances, through to lecturing hundreds of uni students and speaking on international stages. Yet, what Vee is most passionate about is working with her own team here at the Sydney Voice Studio, and helping teachers and advanced singers build sustainable and realistic work. Vee enjoys working with folks who aren't afraid of the nitty gritty, and are brave in their approach to developing their craft and portfolio careers, and of course, who like to have some fun in the process! *You will be asked to fill in a client questionnaire prior to your session. Please note sessions with Vee are available on a casual basis, to a limited number of bookings per month. Online via ZOOM.
