About this event

You are not alone! Performance anxiety is a common (and normal) reaction to singing and performing in public or in front of others.

In the world of stage performance and music, many singers may experience this from time to time, no matter how advanced a performer you may be.

Join Studio Director Dr. Veronica Stewart as she lends her knowledge on this topic, drawing on her experience as a performer, parent, voice educator/researcher, and the field of neuroscience, polyvagal theory and somatic resilience.

You'll catch tips and tricks to help you become more confident in your singing and uncover ways to lower your anxiety levels during performances. You will learn about what happens in the brain during these events, and you'll work through mental and physical practices that can help manage performance anxiety.

Through bespoke and multidisciplinary knowledge, you'll gain insight into how to alleviate and even turn anxious moments into empowering and calm ones.
